Glass Desktop

The custom KDE Plasma 6 desktop that ships with Genesi OS.

Genesi ships KDE Plasma 6 (Wayland by default, X11 available) with a cohesive dark-green "glass" look out of the box.

What's included

The GenesiOS color scheme and Plasma theme (glassmorphism via KWin translucency + blur).
A floating bottom panel and curated default widgets, including the AI Mode widget.
Custom SDDM login theme, GRUB theme, and branding.

Customizing

System Settings → Appearance → Colors — switch schemes (keep GenesiOS for the intended look).
Right-click the desktop → Configure Desktop and Wallpaper for the background.

Using a different desktop

You can install another DE/WM, but you'll lose Genesi-specific integration (the AI Mode widget, theme, branding):

sudo pacman -S gnome   # or xfce4, i3, …
